The official TAUG activities start at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. We invite you to arrive in San Juan early to tour, explore and have fun in the city. To make your planning easy, several group activities have been set up for you.
TAUG Golf Outing at Plantation Club Golf Course
Sunday, May 17, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Additional Fee: $170
Puerto Rico boasts some of the most beautiful golf courses in the Caribbean. The Plantation Club at Dorado Beach is no exception. This par 72 course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. offers palm tree-lines courses and amazing views of the ocean.
The additional fee includes: green fees, a golf cart, transportation, and a light lunch.
Catamaran “Snorkel Sail”
Sunday, May 17, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Additional Fee: $100
Set sail through the unspoiled islands off the coast of Fajardo on a Catamaran. Embark The Salty Dog, a 46 ft. Sailing Catamaran, and sail through the clear waters of the Caribbean and stop on the beaches of Fajardo. There you can wander the beaches or slip on some snorkeling gear and swim with the tropical fish. Snorkeling gear and lunch will be provided.
The additional fee includes: transportation, lunch, snorkeling gear, and the sail.
El Yunque Tropical Rain Forest
Sunday, May 17, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Additional Fee: $72
Get your camera and hiking boots ready. The El Yunque Rain Forest is part of the picturesque Caribbean National Forest System, which is the largest in the US National Forest System used as a Biospheric Reserve. Spend four hours trekking through a jungle of tropical and subtropical tress and plants, giant ferns, waterfalls, and trailing vines. There will be plenty of stops along the way to snap pictures, enjoy lunch, and take in the beautiful setting.
The additional fee includes: transportation, tour, and a boxed lunch.

Dutch Dine Around or Bioluminescent Bay Tour

Old San Juan is a must see for anyone who visits Puerto Rico. There are a ton of quaint, mom & pop restaurants waiting for you to taste their specialties. Everything from local favorites to great burgers can be found in Old San Juan. After dinner, wander the cobble-stone streets of the 465-year old neighborhood.
Or, if you’re the adventurous type, sign up for a kayak adventure tour of one of Puerto Rico’s bioluminescent bays, an amazing natural phenomenon.
The Bioluminescent Lagoon (additional $99) at Las Cabezas Preserve one of Puerto Rico’s most exciting Eco-tourism adventures. The tour starts with a Puerto Rican style meal at El Dajo (translation: the River Fish) then it is off to the pier. Guides will meet the group there to give instructions about the kayaks and tour. Then you will be kayaking through the crystal clear water in glass bottom boats. As you paddle through the water you will see the natural elements illuminate. After the tour buses will take you back to the hotel. The additional fee includes: transportation, meal and tour.

An Evening at Hacienda Siesta Alegre
Be prepared for a magical evening at the Hacienda Siesta Alegre. This Spanish, colonial, rustic style house, located in the foothills of the En Yunque rainforest, will take your breath away. The panoramic view from mountains to sea is alone worth a visit to the Hacienda. Exploring this real “residence with no walls” will keep you intrigued for hours. This is your evening to relax, have fun, and enjoy the soft Caribbean breeze.
