TAUG participants who are arriving via plane should fly into (San Juan) Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport (SJU).

American Airlines is a preferred provider for TAUG 2009. They offer the most service into Puerto Rico including direct flights to San Juan from Baltimore-Washington International Airport, JFK-New York Airport and Chicago-O’Hare Airport.

Transportation To and From Airport
Taxis
Taxis are available from the first level of each terminal. The cost to the Ritz Carlton from the airport is approximately $20.
Rental Cars
With the exception of getting to and from the airport, all conference transportation will be provided for you. If you anticipate needing a vehicle, you can find desks for Avis, Budget, Charlie, Dollar, Hertz, National, and Thrifty in Concourse E. There are also courtesy telephones in the arrivals area of the airport.

Both English and Spanish are the official languages of Puerto Rico; the local currency is the U.S. dollar, and no visas or passports are required to enter Puerto Rico from the United States.
