Sunday Fun Day Events
The official TAUG activities start at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. We invite you to arrive in Austin early to tour, explore and have fun in the city. To make your planning easy, we’ve taken the liberty of setting up a few optional events that you may enjoy.
Cypress Valley Canopy Tour
If you are adventurous, love nature, and like viewing the world from the top down then you don’t want to miss the Cypress Valley Canopy Tour. The canopy tour is an eco-adventure located in Spicewood, TX, 45 minutes outside of Austin. Guides will take you on a zip line tour that flies through the old cypress trees for an exciting view of the Texas Hill Country. Some of the trees are up to 100 feet tall so make sure you are comfortable with heights! After the tour relax and enjoy a nice picnic at a private lake.
Attire: Sneakers or hiking boots, comfortable clothing (the weather in April will be in the 70s so shorts are acceptable).

Arrival back at hotel: 2 PM
