Speed Networking & State of the Company Presentation

It doesn’t matter if this is your first TAUG or your eleventh, there are always new Personify/TIMSS users to meet. During the first portion of this session, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with up to 25 other people who can share everything from quick software tips to information on which Austin restaurants to pick. This is a great way to meet folks and don’t worry, you’ll have plenty of time to talk more with your new friends throughout the conference. After a round of speed networking, TMA Resources’ President & CEO Edi Dor will deliver the State of The Company to inform you about the organization’s strategic vision and future direction.

You may be pleasantly surprised to know that the ORD660 now supports multiple report layouts. Learn how to generate a different invoice depending on what subsystem you are using. Are We PCI Compliant Yet?

By now you most likely know that Visa has mandated that credit card merchants must be using PA-DSS validated payment applications by July, 2010. You probably already know that both Personify 7.1.1 and TIMSS 6.5 have been validated as PA-DSS compliant payment applications. But what else do you need to do? What is covered by simply using Personify/TIMSS and what are the procedures that you need to put in place internally? You’ll even have the opportunity to explore the museum itself where you can relive “Encounters on Land” the story of first meetings between Native Americans and explorers from Europe. The Non-Techie’s Introduction to e-Business Training (Training: A $200 Value)

Do you feel like you need to call the IT department every time you want to make a change to your online store? Fear no more. Learn how to leverage open source tools in order to support the management of Personify custom development code. Watch with amazement as we show you how much easier upgrades are when you use source control to help retrofit your custom code back into the upgraded base version. Discover how source control methodology will allow multiple vendors to develop Personify modifications at the same time and you don’t have to just take our word for it—the National Association of Chain Drug Stores will share their case study on multi-vender co-development.

In this hands-on training session you will learn how to create brand new Web forms and extensions with the Personify Web Form framework. Customizing Notifications

In this high-level technical session you will learn how to customize notifications for use with your organization’s business rules and learn how to integrate Notifications with the new Personify Workflow engine. Performance Monitoring

This session is only one hour, but by the end you will know how to leverage Microsoft Windows 2008 server performance tools for real-time monitoring and how to use the latest Microsoft SQLServer 2008 tools for tracking database activity and events.

Developer Day is jam-packed with great training and information, which will lead to a lot of “ah-ha moments” and new ideas. In this networking session, there will be topic stations around the room where you can share your brilliant thoughts and brainstorm with other Personify developers and TMA Resources’ product development team. Adult beverages will be provided—by this point, you will have earned them.
