Passport Information – Passport required to travel to Canada from United States

As of 1 June 2009, everyone traveling between the United States and Canada, by land, sea (including cruises and ferries) or air will be required to present a valid passport or other documents as determined by the Department of Homeland Security to cross the border.  For more information on applying for a US passport, please click here.  To see the regulations for who is eligible to visit Canada, please visit the Citizenship and Immigration Canada Web site.  This site also provides information regarding Visas for those who need one to enter Canada.

The TMA Resources Annual Users Group Conference has been registered with the Canada Border Services Agency. This letter officially recognizers the conference and will assist in the customs process when arriving in Vancouver. We suggest presenting the letter with your passport at customs; however, it is not necessary to provide the letter. If you have to apply for a visa to visit Canada you will need to send a copy of this letter to the appropriate agency to obtain your visa.

Airport & Transportation Information

TAUG participants who are arriving via plane should fly into Vancouver International Airport (YVR). TMA Resources has successfully negotiated discounts on flights to Vancouver with both Air Canada and American Airlines. To book with Air Canada, use the promotion code CFNNNJ21 for a 10% discount and for American Airlines use the code 7131DZ for a 5% discount. Please note that the codes will only work on each airline’s Web site. It will not be successful on Expedia, Travelocity or other travel sites.
